This January, MTV Bloc Party has its first pit stop beside the beach at the Juhu bloc in Mumbai! A party that comes alive!
Spanning across two days, January 18th and 19th of 2013, starting at 5pm on the 18th and 2PM on the 19th, this is the first dance party in the coming New Year - featuring, Alesso who is also crowned as the hottest DJ of 2012; Deniz Koyu, Opiuo, Cosmo Klein, Jean Elan, Simon Dunmore and Shovell on percussion! This is your chance to get away from the daily grind of the city...in the city!

ALESSO
Ranked at No. 20 on the Top 100 DJs list by DJ Magazine in 2012 & named as EDM artist to watch in 2012 by MTV, perfectly crafted sonic soundscape with his own songs and remixes Alesso has all of the necessary weapons to crush it.
Deniz Koyu
Deniz Koyu is a German - Turkish DJ and music producer who specializes in progressive house and electro house.
MTV has named him as the most promising talents to watch out for in 2012 and have added him to their list of "EDM Rookies To Watch" list, calling him "a blazing new talent".
Deniz received worldwide support from acclaimed DJ's such as Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Dada Life and Fedde le Grand. He was hand-picked by Axwell to play at the world premiere of Cosmic Opera in New York, performed at Ultra Music Festival Miami and got confirmed for his first-ever Sensation White and Mysteryland appearances.
Cosmo Klein
Unique in style, performance and writing Cosmo Klein combines soulfull, yet song oriented vocals with electronical music.
In 2012 he'll team up with legendary producers like Tocadisco and Jamie Lewis , getting back together with Jean Elan again, and releasing his first solos ingle within the electronic music scene called "BY TONIGHT".
Jean Elan
From Berlin for the world. It is according to this motto that Jean Elan works in the enigmatic music scene of the city. Jean Elan's music is a cosmopolitan mixture of sounds - electronic without a puristic departure, House Music with a forceful groove but a certain lightness is also always a part of the production.
He was nominated for a Grammy in the "Best Remixer"- category for his remix of "The Girl And The Robot" - Royksopp feat. Robyn. He is only the 4th German ever to be nominated in the Remix-category (after Paul van Dyk, Mousse T and ATB).
Opiuo
Opiuo is a chief sufferer of intense musical addiction, spending every spare second creating audible treats.
He's performed alongside the likes of MC Hammer and Bassnectar, reached #1 chart positions on Beatport, Addictech, and iTunes. His latest full length release, "Slurp And Giggle" was nominated for Best Dance / Electronic Release at the Australian Independent Music Awards and was the most downloaded album for 2010 on addictech.com.

SIMON DUNMORE
The man behind Defected Records, Simon Dunmore has been DJ ing for over 25 years and has collaborated with artists like Bob Sinclar, Soulsearchers, Kings of Tomorrow and many more.
He has also performed under his label at major festivals Winter Music Conference Miami, Sundane Festival and Pacha Ibiza to name a few.
SHOVELL
Best known as The Drum Warrior, Shovell started his professional music career in early 1990's.
He has played his percussion alongside the worlds best Djs in the worlds biggest clubs, but it is all done in the guise of his alto ego "the drum warrior" which sees Shovell wearing the most vibrant tribal clothes and face paint.
