Blogs Fashion's week out Posted
August 06, 2012 @ 00:00 am The riots of colours and raindrops don't seem to be taking a break. With downpours flooding the city, the fashion industry still seems to be extremely enthusiastic about the Lakme Fashion Week Day 2.
Wafty silhouettes, retro print frocks, earthy toned pastels, fringed choli, croquette prints and a wave of metallic accents seems to be washing the shores of the runway this season.
What we gear up for is how to keep it stylish off the runway as well. We blocked this choc a block sailor dress for a happy morning wear. Teamed with a neutral embellished blazer or just a plain cardigan, drape this and it’s a definite eye catcher.
For the “Androgynous look” as they called it, these ankle length Gucci boots have left us spell bound. Has your fall wardrobe started crying for these already? Mine definitely have. Sigh.
And those Eye-Spy cameras have caught these soothing colours on our sunglasses. Effortless feminine elegance comes unasked with this. Deliberating any space for choice, we’d love to see some classy pieces on the eyes too.
All set to lush out the Beer are we, Celebrating World Beer Day tomorrow; we lend you our pick of a comfortable yet opulent chic style for the day. Asymmetric hemming seem too been taking over our wardrobe this season. This navy blue skirt blends with any soft coloured blouse and a pinch of ethnic tastes with the bangles puff effortless style. Cheers.
