Heard of Kim Kardashian’s butt insurance worth $21 million? Well, our B-town celebs have too; and not only have they heard, they appear pretty eager to emulate as well.
Here’s a look at six Bollywood celebs who are interested in getting their various body parts and attributes insured, or at the very least, copyrighted:
The hunky star has apparently in the past received an offer to have his butt insured for a whopping amount of 10 crores, to which he supposedly responded in the affirmative. Well, having gotten an eyeful of it in Dostana, we agree. Wholeheartedly.
Given that her pout has always drawn much attention, we can’t wholly blame Priyanka for wanting it protected. The Bollywood diva turned pop star apparently engaged in a serious discussion with her lawyers to have her smile copyrighted, a move that was prompted by the fact that several dentists had started luring customers by promising them the PeeCee smile.
Following in her footsteps was B-town superstar Amitabh Bachchan who lost his cool on learning that his trademark baritone was being aped to sell gutkha in a commercial. “This is unethical and has painted me in a bad light. For someone who does not smoke or propagate smoking, it is disgusting to find someone conflagrating the law of the land,” he retorted and has since said to have taken the necessary measures to have his baritone patented.
Mimicking Sunny’s voice and dialogue delivery could now leave you poorer by 200 crores given that the actor has now made a move to have both copyrighted – And recently slapped a lawsuit seeking compensation to the tune of 200 crores on a radio station for imitating the same. In a heated statement, Sunny said, “I don't have an objection to people imitating my voice but they should know the limits. It upsets me when some people cross the line with below-the-belt mimicry.” Well, here’s hoping that he doesn’t have to go through a never-ending spate of tareekhs to get there.
The leggy lass apparently got hooked on the idea of having her butt insured after being approached by the same American company that handled the responsibility of having JLo’s assets insured.
The actress who has always treasured her derriere apparently wants to take the next step by having it insured. Why though, we have yet to figure out, seeing as neither her butt nor any other body part of hers is seen onscreen these days.
