People lining up for an audition, with dreams of stardom swimming across their eyes; that perfect dream where you get out of your car only to walk twenty steps more on a red carpet, into an arena that is booming with fans and haters.

Paris Hilton's stay in India has been elaborately extravagant. She first walked the ramp for the designer duo Shane and Falguni in a fabulous peacock print dress and then played the Saturday night DJ in Candolim, Goa.

Ready to boo you, ready to woo you…Can you ask for anything more? However, let us see whether there is more than just the usual way of reaching the red carpet, and for that let us use the Paris Hilton case study.

So, while I was shopping for groceries to cook some real babble for you guys, I came across a quote by John Wooden. He says: “Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.” I repeat: “Talent is God given. Fame is man given”. Somewhere along the way, Miss. Hilton must have come across these life changing words too.

If talent is not what you have been gifted, you can still find fame in your existence because that is the responsibility of the people around you. Wait a minute; we cannot forget that Paris Hilton has the gift of beauty dropped right onto her lap along with a huge sum of money to make that beauty last. Basically, let us completely forget the talent for now because a thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Thus, Paris Hilton’s stay in India has been elaborately extravagant. She first walked the ramp for the designer duo Shane and Falguni in a fabulous peacock print dress and then played the Saturday night DJ in Candolim, Goa. She got the crowd cheering by playing popular numbers like good old “Gangam Style”, “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night” and “I’m Sexy and I Know It”. To top it up, the heiress decided to drop by in Mumbai; not to meet our celebrities or to party a little more, but to visit the famous Siddhivinayak Temple.

We can understand it gets tiring to pose with Hollywood hunks all through the day; so, why not take a break from that and pose with the Lord Ganpati? Or, maybe it was her way of piercing our mummy’s heart, forcing mummy to say: “Hai, that is a million dollar Bahu!”
