Case in point: Miley Cyrus, who seems to have scandals lining up in droves at her door, the latest being an offensive picture doing the rounds on Instagram!

Many years ago, just when we were getting used to being a teen and the awkwardness that comes with the territory, Miley Cyrus sang about getting the ‘Best Of Both Worlds.’ Well, the popstar seems to have downed quite a few doses of her own medicine; after being the poster girl for the ideal American teen for quite some years now, Miley seems determined to get a taste of the high life. While many of the allegations levelled against the Hannah Montana star have been deemed baseless, there’s no denying that her rebellious spurt can no longer been written off as a harmless wild phase; with many fearing that the former teen sensation is just one topless scandal away from being checked into a rehab.

Dishing out some more fodder to the gossip mills on a silver plate, Miley is now the subject of a fresh controversy with a picture of a spiky-haired blonde smoking marijuana, who happens to bear a striking resemblance to the pop diva, doing the rounds on Instagram. The classily captioned picture (High as fvck) led to the predictable backlash from her impressionable fans and the media, causing Miley to clarify her stand on Twitter.

Bringing all chaos to a halt, Miley spoke up and pleaded innocence on the grounds that she did not, in fact, possess an Instagram account.  “I do not have an Instagram!” read the tweet from Miley’s official Twitter account. While it is possible that the whole incident is an unfortunate misunderstanding, there is no denying that her past misdoings with the Bob Marley birthday cake and the infamous salvia scandal don’t stand her in good stead. Also, perhaps now would not be a good time to point that the girl in the picture sports a tattoo on her right hand, strikingly similar to Miley’s own tattoo.

However, since the picture hasn’t been uploaded from her original account, there’s no guarantee that we aren’t being trolled by a jobless Photoshop geek, thereby putting the matter on probation. Court adjourned.
