A Better way to Stop Traffic

Through the turbulence of the past two years; DMK lost out on public support for their cause of social and democratic populism. DMK lost the Assembly elections, an obvious sampler, and key leaders like A Raja and Kanimozhi were put behind bars. Ever since
DMK chief M Karunanidhi's son MK Stalin and daughter Kanimozhi were among the first ones to court arrest. The funny thing is that Kanimozhi was already out on bail, but now she found a greater reason for getting arrested; other than the 2G scam allegations. After courting arrest, she vocalized her annoyance, towards the AIADMK, without daddy’s presence. She also made a deadly dialogue, saying: “This is DMK's answer to AIADMK's vendetta politics. DMK leaders are being arrested without any proof. This is not a moment for soul searching by DMK. This is time for soul searching by the public and the press.”
Ironically, there was no space in the, already, overcrowded jails in Chennai and for Jayalalitha, the main target, was holidaying in Ooty. Nevertheless, for those who were protesting, none of the above was a barrier. Those who were arrested were taken to college grounds and wedding halls; Kanimozhi herself was taken to YMCA College of Physical Education. Unfortunately, we could not see the outspoken Mr. Karunanidhi, in action, for the sake of his age.
In Chennai the day began with a lot of traffic, on the protester strewn roads, but the maximum opinions towards the events were on the internet. How can one forget that one of the biggest IT hubs in India is Chennai? However, the protests of our dear socialists still happen to be a romantic escapade with the revolutionary ideals, of the past. Take our suggestion and blog, then the world watches; it is a better way to stop the traffic.
