However, tech reviewers in the west have been compassionate towards the two key features that make it stand out: a stylus and several applications that make it handy for taking down notes and sketching; and the ability to view two applications at one time, in a split-screen format. Although, these features, hint at it being designed for a niche audience; specially for creative professionals.
Surely enough it has been elevated above regular android systems and it costs less than the iPad; at 499 American dollars. Yet, the attraction for such a device only stems from its user specific applications; such as, drawing, note-taking and multitasking. But, if you have no use of those features we strongly recommend a pass. Starting at 499 dollars, Samsung's base Note 10.1 model seems a reasonably priced gadget, especially when you add the S-Pen, PS Touch, Exynos 4 processor and 16GB of storage. Though, for the regular user it would not be as compelling as Apple’s third-generation iPad; and so, as an iPad killer, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet can at best be a suicide bomber.
