Two B, or not two B

Dressed in a white suit, our superstar, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan on Thursday braced the pre-Olympic torch run at Southwark in London. And what a spectacle it was; a day before the opening ceremony, to have the 69 year old hunk, run a 300 metre distance witho
“This is an incredible honour, humbling, and so full of pride and emotion”, said Mr. Bachchan on his blog before the event, that took place on Thursday. However, Mr. Bachchan was not the only one to lend his stardom to the event; the other Indian was NRI businessman Laxmi Mittal.
We were wondering, instead; how did these Olympic Committee chaps tackle, the question of which stars to pick from Bollywood’s Milky Way. Do you think that the Bachchan duo is the only option that one must fall prey to? What would your option be for a funnier pair at the Olympics? Yes, if you want to be unimaginative you too can apply the Committee’s formula of two B; or not two B.
No offence to Big B, we are immensely proud of him, but just for the sake of a laugh we must slip. Understandably, Shah Rukh Khan would be a bad option because he has a fetish of smoking in sporting events, especially, here with a torch in his hand the outcome could be disastrous.
Anyway, you give that one a thought, after all, we have certainly made a mark in London already; first it was Akshai Sarin, now even AR Rahman is composing a song that is part of a Olympic medley in Olympics opening ceremony. Three cheers for India!
