Kristen's Worst Nightmare!
October 15, 2012 @ 00:00 am
Audiences may be scared stiff by her blank expressions, but Kristen Stewart apparently has a huge phobia of her own. So what is the one thing that has Kristen quaking in her boots, or should we say, in her rundown sneakers? Read on to find out!
And no, it does not involve the prospect of having to see Robert Pattinson without the pancake makeup. Although, it does make for a close second!
No matter how much Akshay Kumar implores us to live on the edge; we all have our own demons that we never have the guts to face. And when you are a huge celebrity, facing hundreds of people daily, most of whom are just waiting for you to make a faux pas, these phobias can achieve mammoth proportions. For instance, Uday Chopra is scared that he will die an award virgin, Tusshar Kapoor is terrified that Didi Kapoor might one day cut him off and he will have to hunt down his own film roles whereas Eesha Gupta lives in the fear that her plastic surgeon’s bill may someday go public.
And now we have a new one to add to the list: After hours of relentless digging, awe inspiring hard work, working overtime and investigating (or maybe just reading the online excerpts of her new biography), we managed to unearth the one thing that petrifies Kristen like no other. Brace yourselves people, for Kristen’s biggest phobia involves a couple of sinister, eerie social networking sites, namely Facebook and Twitter!
The 22 year old actress recently went on record saying that she feared Facebook and Twitter would be the cause of her death. In a twisted way, we do get her point – The white and blue interface scares the crap out of us too; especially when it comes to hitting the ‘Confirm’ button on the long list of pending relatives!
Kristen was quoted as telling interviewer Sian Edwards that, “Nowadays it's harder because everyone is on Facebook and everyone knows where you are all the time, and everyone's twittering. Like I'm going to die because somebody is going to say where I am and somebody is going to kill me. Someone's going to twitter my location and then it's going to be like, boom." Kristen’s sentiments are much appreciated, even though we can’t figure out why would anyone have to ‘twitter’ her location? If you’re trying to locate Kristen, you just have to make a beeline for the director’s private cabin on the sets of whatever film she’s shooting next. Easy as that.
At the end of the day, we guess the broader lesson here is that government agents and spies need to stop relying on those sophisticated tracking softwares and instead log on to Facebook & Twitter to weed the Ajmal Kasabs out. ‘Coz you know, the way Facebook automatically adds the ‘near Mumbai, Maharashtra’ tag to every post is such a dead giveaway; they couldn’t be more specific if they tried.
So before you head back to your jobs, (which may or may not involve a certain amount of stalking now that you’re armed with the newfound knowledge of the magic of Facebook Places and Twitter Locations) try solving this one:
What makes Kristen Stewart petrified of Facebook & Twitter when she doesn’t have any visible accounts on either? Now there’s a question that only an MTV Genius can answer!
