Ironman vs. Hulk

So you are a hardcore Avengers fanatic? Well, it's now time to make the toughest decision ever; that of choosing one between the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist Iron Man and the angry man Hulk.
All those valiantly fighting the Apple versus Blackberry battle need to lay down their weapons. Even those fighting tooth and nail about why Facebook is better than Twitter need to calm down. That’s ‘coz now the biggest battle of them all is here – the Ironman versus Hulk and it’s time to fight for the glory of our favorite superhero. Which is where the big problem lies. HOW do you choose between two mind-blowing superheroes? One a technical genius who brilliantly invented a suit of armor that we are just dying to have and the other a reserved physicist who transforms into an angry giant of a man. And if like us, you haven’t be able to decide between two, we help you choose:
Hulk has fought every Marvel super hero at some point of time. In fact, even Mark Fergus and Hawk Otsby, the writers of Iron Man, felt that Hulk makes for a formidable foe. “I left the door open for whoever’s going to direct ‘The Avengers’ with our last shot. We consciously decided to make the last shot of the movie when he opens his eyes and he smirks at the camera,” says Leterrier, maker of The Incredible Hulk. “Is he enjoying it? Is he malicious? You don’t know if he’s a good guy or bad guy. He’s always on this edge and we’ve been sort of surfing that edge, that very thin edge during the entire movie.” Conclusion: Hulk can make for a badass villain who would cream anyone, even a bunch of the best superheroes of our times.
While on the other hand, we have the irrepressible Iron Man; even the creators of the comics seemed to recognize Iron Man’s superiority - as anyone who has read the Ultimate Hulk vs. Iron Man: Ultimate Human, published in 2008, would loftily inform you. The book deals with a desperate Bruce Banner pleading with Tony Stark to cure him of his Hulk affliction. (Note to self: Somewhere deep down, even Bruce acknowledges that Tony’s intellect is superior to his own). Moreover, when Hulk fights Iron Man in the book, Tony successfully defeats him by using an electroshock to Hulk's brain to cut off the Hulk's anger, and making him revert back to Bruce Banner. Conclusion: Iron Man has already defeated Hulk once, thus proving that he is the stronger of the two. It’s the Ultimate war between the Hulk and Iron Man!
Even the Twitterverse wasn’t too decided as to who’s better. While one user felt that, “it is fair to say that Hulk would win, Tony Stark would be in his birthday suit in the first 10 minutes”, another one countered that, “Hulk wouldn’t fit through a doorway, while Iron Man is a genius”.
Looking at all the facts with an objective mind, we guess Iron Man trumps Hulk. Even the makers feel so, and who are we to argue with the creators of the best comic series ever? Of course, we may be a bit biased; but Robert Downey Jr. definitely beats Mark Ruffalo hands down. And WHO wouldn’t want an amazingly cool suit of armor? So whose side are you on, the inventor or the scientist? Tell us in the comments!
