Yesterday, when the team of Ek Tha Tiger was partying hard, celebrating the success of the film at director Kabir Khan’s house, Sallu was not present. Instead, he was at his house in Bandra, but not alone; parked outside his Galaxy Apartments, journalists spotted Priyanka Chopra’s white Mercedes Benz. She was finally escorted to her car by Sallu at 5 am. While that brings us to the end of the theory of Magnetism in Bollywood, I would like to give it a name. I guess I would be called Ironic.

Ironic because, at the beginning of the year the buzz was that Shah Rukh Khan’s proximity with Priyanka was giving Gauri Khan the jitters; even before that Bollywood was divided into two teams. One team was led by the Don and the other by the Tiger; but smart girls like Kareena Kapoor appeased both clans by featuring in RaOne and Bodyguard. Probably, Priyanka Chopra is following in her footsteps but must she do so at the break of dawn?

Another reason for calling this theory Ironic is because Katrina Kaif who was strictly a member of the Salman Clan, is going to feature for the first time in a film with Shah Rukh Khan. While the last time Priyanka worked with Sallu was ages back in a film filed under the letter “G” in our Library of Historical Data, something called God Tussi Great Ho. Will this trend of cross-magnetism stand the test of time; what will happen when the Khans lose their mettle?
