New Facebook reaches New Lows

Every now and then facebook behaves like Mimoh and tries to refresh its career but just like Mimoh it fails miserable. New Facebook has changed its privacy settings so that now your data is about as private as Paris Hilton’s sex life. It now has a tab above your chat window that further reveals to you how jobless you’re friends really are and its revised news feed shows you ugly pictures bigger and better than before. Overall New facebook is much like a Ram Gopal Verma film, complicated, over-the-top and pointless.

 

Shahid Kapoor makes a G(r)and Mistake!

So today Shahid Kapoor made a complete ‘ass’ out of himself by coming on twitter and making one of the most EPIC typos ever. Wanting to type ‘girlgang’ he wrote ‘girlgand’ instead! Needless to say Shahid got completely trolled on twitter with #girlgand even trending in India. @BollywoodGandu came up with this absolutely hilarious take, “If Mausam does well, @shahidkapoor will pat himself on his #girlgand”. Thank God Shahid didn’t tweet the words duck, rock and hits because with his evolved typing skills they might have come out with an ‘f’, ‘c’ and ‘t’ respectively.

@MtvIndia however saw this typo for the immense positive social potential it holds. This the idea put forawrd by the MTV India twitter handle and which I think is a terrific idea that needs implementation ASAP! “@MtvIndia: For every Twitter typo Shahid Kapoor makes, donate Rs 32 to the poor. That way, everyone will be above the poverty line in no time.”

 

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Passed Away:

He was a Nawab and a cricketer. A man of pure class, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi passed away today at age 70. Nicknamed Tiger for his aggressive all-round performances as a cricketer, he was the captain of the Indian cricket team, husband to Sharmila Tagore and father to Saif and Soha Ali Khan. With his demise, India loses a another legend and another true Tiger.

 

What’s Happening at MTV Digital?

Today on the Facebook India page a rather quirky campaign was highlighted. Heres the original post:

“Students of a Mumbai college have started a ‘Chappal Marungi’ campaign to teach women how to fight against eve-teasers using their chappals!

There’s only one way to describe men who deserve to be slapped with shoes - ‘Jootey’ kahin ke :P”

Right after the post was put up we received this comment from enligtened user Vvs Thakur “Oi maa kyaa dhansu maal hai..” and also Chhawa Don who said this,  “Tuze dekh dil khush ho gaya su ruchi...... shivangi.....suna he ladkiya najar k hatiyar se insan ka khun karti he......fir ......” Yes, this is what is meant by the word Irony. On the upside, I guess the campaigners now know where they can start their campaign from!

P.S. If you change your name to Chhawa Don in the hopes of getting girls then you’re more deluded than Shahid Kapoor is about his spelling.
