*OOOOOOO* No! There's good news and bad news, guys. The good news is that Himesh Reshammiya has finally realised that his 'acting' career is really going nowhere, and hence, he won't be acting in films anymore. (FYI, his last release, KajraaRe was released in just one (!) theatre in the country! Tsk, Tsk.)

 

The bad news is that Himess-Bhai is returning with a full fledged 'international' album very soon, which shall feature- hold your breath- songs in English too! After the classics 'I Love You Sayyoni', 'Love You Unconditionally Soniye' and '(shudder) 'My Love For You Is Not A One Night Stand' (yes, the song actually exists), we can expect a whole host of new smash hits which shall puncture our eardrums and make it impossible to travel by rickshaws again.

 

The album, BTW- is called '@ Da Edge' (SO SUPER-KEWL!). As if this news isn't enough to push us off the edge, have a look at Mr Reshammiya's new look for the album above, and here, at the da official FB Page. We are ROFLOL!

 

 

Rakhi as Sex-Ed Teacher: Jejus!

 

 

So Rakhi Sawant- May Jejus bless her soul- is now going to star in a new film called 'Qasam Se Qasam' where, according to the makers, she will be playing a 'Sex-Teacher'. Okay, we think (and hope) they actually mean Sex Education Teacher, but then, you never know with Rakhi, do you? Her name in the film is also rather interesting we thought: her character is called Delnaz Doodhwaala. How subtle.

 

Though we would've suggested Salma Silicone-waali, but anyway... never mind. Looking forward to an award winning performance from Ms Sawant in this undoubtedly noble venture.

 

The film apparently also has Rakhi Ji grooving to a song by Mika. So, have they er, kissed and made up? Amen to that, anyway.

 

It's never too late for Love!

 

 

Wow. Now this is actually news that makes us want to stand and applaud. Remember Suhasini Mulay? The adorable on-screen mommy, who appears right at the beginning of Lagaan? Well, the super-cool news is that Ms Mulay just got married quite recently, at he ripe age of 60- and that too, meeting her current husband through Facebook! The veteran actress who had never gotten married met particle physicist Atul Gurtu on Facebook, got friendly with him on the social networking site, and as time flew, they decided to meet, fell in love and wedding bells rang! Now that makes for some story.

 

Props to Suhasini Ji for taking the plunge at this age, proving that age is just a number, and for being super tech-savvy too! We wish them a very, very happy married life indeed.
