The Mozart of Madras is a reluctant superstar that never makes his entry an event but merely walks by as if he’s forgotten that he’s only amongst admirers and not a pack of wolves. One wonders, what is it like to be the creator of some of the non-facepalm Bollywood music out there; what is it like to be the only Indian musician to have won  two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fifteen Filmfare Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South?

Unfortunately, he wouldn’t have an answer for that because he’s not as much a man of word’s as he is a man of notes (musical). So, we just hope that in trying to answer our question, in notes, he ends up giving us some more great music. Happy birthday Rahman; may all your wishes come true.
