Established back in the late 90’s, Karsh Kale and the MIDIval Punditz, made up of leading Indian/electronic DJs Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj, have made a name for themselves as the pioneers of Indian electronica. They have shared the stage and recorded with other well known artists including Anoushka Shankar, Sting, Norah Jones and many more. Along with his fellow Indian fusionists the MIDIval Punditz, on this day in music, back in 2010, Karsh Kale performed for Cinema Live at Royce Hall. Karsh Kale performed his new compositions with guitarist Chris Buono, Ghazal maestro Vishal Vaid, and special guest Los Angeles-based electro violinist Dorian Cheah and collaborators MIDIval Punditz for a unique concert experience with Cinema Live.
