Kryptos was formed in late 1998; they are a classic heavy metal band with prominent elements of 80's thrash metal, such as the insane riffs and barking vocals.

Their first album Spiral Ascent was released in 2004 and the second album The Ark of Gemini came four years later through OSM Records of California, by which time they had earned a cult status in the Indian metal underground scene. Their third album The Coils of Apollyon was released on this day in music, last year, through AFM Records in Germany, for which they got incredible reviews all over the world.
