Buzz TDIM - Shakira auctioned her Bra and donated the proceeds to charity Posted
February 13, 2013 @ 00:43 am On This Day In Music, a fan bought Shakira's Bra, and the proceeds were given to a children's charity. 
What would you do with a lakh and half? Probably, invest it; buy a Tata Nano; or, go on a holiday. At first I thought it was an investment, but then I realized it was all for Oral Fixation. I mean, on this day in music, a fan bought Shakira’s bra that she had worn on her Oral Fixation world tour in 2007. The pop star happily auctioned it to use the proceeds for her children's charity.
Besides, another fan paid fourteen thousand dollars to meet Shakira; something, my friend did for free while being part of the organizing committee for her India tour. Surely that bra hasn’t been washed yet, just like these purchases shouldn’t be looked upon as a washout of common sense when, we know it was for a cause.
