Buzz TDIM - The Beatles performed at the Cassanova Club in Liverpool Posted
February 14, 2013 @ 11:13 am On This Day In Music, The Beatles performed at the Cassanova Club in Liverpool on the occassion of Valentine's Day.
It’s Valentine’s Day, so missing out on some Beatles trivia would be a little stupid on our part; hence, on this day in music, The Beatles were asked to perform at the Cassanova Club in Liverpool and the other venue was Litherland Town Hall where they played a Valentine's Day show.
Those present alleged that the best they heard was the bands rendition of Elvis Presley's “Wooden Heart” that was sung by Paul McCartney. McCartney wore a wooden heart pinned to his coat that was embroidered in satin with the names “John”, “Paul”, “George”, and “Pete”. Yes, this was before Ringo Starr joined the band. Later, the heart was raffled off and the winning lady also got kissed by Beatle Paul.
