Buzz TDIM- The Black Eyed Peas scored their first Top 10 hit Posted
December 29, 2012 @ 21:56 pm On This Day In Music, The Black Eyed Peas scored their First Top 10 Hit - 'Where is The Love?'
Did you know that the song "Where is the Love?", recorded by American hip-hop group the Black Eyed Peas, featured another singer who was not a member of the group? Anyway, before I start dropping hints, let me give you a little background to the song that gave hip-hop a new perspective. The Peas weren't going anywhere with their earlier albums, and it had come to a point where the members had begun contemplating a split. Shortly after Christmas, will.i.am recorded a background track, which the rest of the band thought was worth some good lyrics. It was almost like Santa had left them a song for Christmas; they began working on it immediately, and the result was exceptional. This day in music, the song peaked at number eight in the United States, becoming The Black Eyed Peas' first Top 10 hit. Now, back to my first question; the answer is Justin Timberlake.
