Buzz TDIM - U2 made a whooping $109 million in 2009 Posted
February 27, 2013 @ 11:18 am On This Day In Music, U2 made a whooping $109 million in 2009 from touring, record sales and other royalties.
On this day in music, some sites and forums are raving about U2 making a record by breaking a record. No, this isn’t about Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby being cut on tape, but they broke Bruce Springsteen’s record of making $58m (£38m) from touring, record sales and other royalties. “How much did they make?” you ask. U2 made a whopping $109m (£71m) in the year 2009. Hey, wait a minute; when it comes to dividing that money equally among all the band members then, doesn’t Bruce Springsteen still get a greater chunk of the pie. While I evaluate that, you can keep face palming. Tags: U2 , Bruce Springsteen , This Day In Music , Joshua Tree , Achtung Baby Next: TDIM - We wish U.
