The Australian rock band AC/DC initiated a Black Ice Tour in support of their 15th studio album Black Ice which was released in 2008.
The tour was said to be the third highest grossing concert tour.
The Black Ice Tour was a successful three year concert tour until 27 May, 2010. The concert was organized on the runway of Wels Airport, Wels, Austria. Later, dozens of AC/DC fans complained of burning eyes during the concert. The doctors found out that the fans showed allergic reaction to the bark mulch which was spread at the runway of the Airport to prevent the soil to get muddy after heavy rainfall. Around 150 fans showed severe allergic reactions and they had to be treated immediately.
